The Founder
After her father’s passing in 2019, Gaia Perez didn’t step back—she stepped forward, turning grief into strength and legacy into creation. With the support of Sunil, director of VGL and her father’s friend of over 30 years, she embraced the chance to carry the family name with passion and purpose.
In 2022, she co-founded Perez de Vecchi with master goldsmith Federica Vecchi—a brand born from resilience and centuries of heritage. Even when her father’s original brand was taken from her, Gaia never gave up. Instead, she made each jewel a tribute to his memory, a story to be worn and cherished.
Her work is built on family, quality, exclusivity, and women empowerment. Inspired by the sky, nature, and iconic Italian landscapes like Capri, Naples, Florence, and Venice, every collection is a journey through Italy’s art, legends, and architecture—a love letter to extraordinary women.
